Home page of Vassilis Kostakos
Vassilis is more or less a nice guy. He holds a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction. He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Madeira, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. Previously he was a Research Associate at the University of Bath. He designs Pervasive Systems, and he conducts research on ubiquitous and pervasive computing, usable security and trust, social and dynamic networks. Despite his ups and downs, he still plays basketball. He now lives on a tiny island in the Atlantic. Last but not least, he is a Maniot. [Research bio] [CV]
