	Paulo Sampaio holds a PhD in Informatics and Telecommunications from University Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III). His PhD Thesis was carried out at the Laboratory of Analysis and Architecture of Systems of CNRS (LAAS-CNRS) in Toulouse (France). His research interests are: The project and development of distributed multimedia systems, documents engineering, presentation of multimedia content inside virtual and augmented environments, multimodal systems, and the utilization of formal/semi-formal methods for the modeling and verification of real-time systems.
